Wish he'd start posting again  :myecred:

He's closer than you think, friend!
I have a pet conspiracy theory about Lil Yachty. The Jews made him famous to put all the marginally talented blacks like Jay-Z and whomever on notice that their fame and fortune has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with any talent they might have. Jewish producers can take the most retarded nigger they can find, a guy so dumb he can't even write his own name, hook him up to autotone, and make him a star. They don't need Jay-Z; Jay-Z needs them.

Iliza Shlesinger: America's Funniest Woman

America's Funniest Woman Being Sued For Sex Discrimination

An attorney who files discrimination suits against bars that offer “ladies’ nights” has sued comedian Iliza Shlesinger, contending that her “Girls Night In” show violated California law by barring men.

According to the suit, George St. George bought a $30 ticket to Shlesinger’s Nov. 13 show at the Largo at the Coronet in Los Angeles, which was advertised as “No Boys Allowed.” St. George and a male friend attempted to enter the show anyway. Initially they were told they could sit in the back row, but later they were denied entry and offered a refund, the suit contends.

St. George has been the plaintiff in several such suits challenging “ladies nights” at bars and other public establishments. His attorney, Alfred Rava, has also made a reputation for filing such suits, once telling CNN that he had filed 150 complaints accusing California businesses of violating the Unruh Civil Rights Act of 1959.

“At no time should an entertainer or an entertainment venue require female patrons or male patrons sit in the back of the theater based solely on their sex,” Rava said via email.

The California Supreme Court ruled in Koire v. Metro Car Wash (1985) that “ladies night” discounts violate the Unruh Act, which provides for “full and equal accommodations” to all business establishments regardless of race, sex, religion and disability.

Violations are punishable by a $4,000 fine, plus attorneys’ fees. Businesses that are sued under the act typically reach an out-of-court settlement rather than face the expense of litigation.

This is all you need to see of Silverman.

Women aren't funny. Never were, never will be.

Hovered over, didn't click

Gerafalo I did like because she played such a absurdly sour person, but I thought it was a cute sort of act.  It turns out it wasn't an act.

Sarah Silverman: A Masterclass in Compassion

Holy shit, Hulu's advertising department is working overtime to promote Silverman's shitty talk show.

Quote
Sarah Silverman's response to a Twitter troll is a master class in compassion

Sarah Silverman may be known for her biting comedy, but her recent exchange with a Twitter troll is being held up as a model of compassion.

A few days ago, Silverman sent out a tweet, and a total stranger replied cruelly with nothing but the "c" word.

But instead of lashing back or blocking the user, Silverman opted for a compassionate response.

"I believe in you. I read ur timeline & I see what ur doing & your rage is thinly veiled pain," she tweeted back. "But u know that. I know this feeling. Ps My back F--king sux too," she added, referring to the back troubles the user mentioned in his Twitter feed. "see what happens when u choose love. I see it in you."

Remarkably, the troll then let down his guard, and explained his pain. "I can't choose love. A man that resembles Kevin Spacey took that away when I was 8," he wrote. "I can't find peace if I could find that guy who ripped my body who stripped my innocence I'd kill him. He f--ked me up and I'm poor so it's hard to get help."

Silverman went on to ask the man if he uses heroin and if he wants to get clean. The man replied that he smokes weed and takes prescription meds. Then Silverman talked about the pitfalls of self-punishment and suggested that he join a support group. "I want to kill him too so I can't imagine your rage. All I know is this rage- and even if you could kill him— it's punishing yourself. And you don't deserve punishment. You deserve support," she said. "Go to one of these support groups. You might meet ur best bros there."

The man agreed to get help, and confessed that he's antisocial and has no friends.

At the end of the exchange, Silverman wrote, "Im so psyched you'll go. KEEP ME POSTED. Don't give up on yourself. Be brave enough to risk getting burned. It's what happens when u fight for yourself. But it's worth it. I promise."

Then she called for others to help.

The response was swift, and a spinal clinic in San Antonio reached out to the user to offer help.

The exchange has become an internet hit, with legions of Silverman fans singing the star's praises for taking the high road.

"This is honestly one of the nicest and truly decent gestures I've ever seen a human being, much less a celebrity, give to another human being," wrote one follower. "Your heart and character are as big as your talent."

The approach seems to be part of Silverman's mission to help calm the increasingly nasty and confrontational political discourse south of the border.

"Screaming at each other has never caused change," she said in a 2017 Uproxx interview. "Sure, sometimes major protests and rioting in the streets causes change, but when it's people one-on-one? Having a screaming competition in that setting never changes minds. So we need to try and understand each other."

W-w-what? Not acting like a rage-filled internet bully and trying to see other people as fellow humans led to a positive outcome?

Better block her account and ban her from Twitter, she's starting to act like the alt-right.  :madgoon:

But I do often point out that I write both science fiction and fantasy. It’s just that the science fiction is usually titled ‘technical proposal’ and the fantasy is titled ‘budget proposal.’

Seconding the eyeroll. Just about every shitlib cliche about gun ownership is represented here. Ofc it's presented to hoots and applause from the audience, since it's the comedienne playing to the audiences biases. Also loving the timely Terminator 2 reference towards the end of the set. Garbage.

Do yourself a favor and watch her sitcom "Take My Wife"

It'a amazingly entertaining as a bizarre look into far-left unfunny comedy. While you might not actually laugh, you will be amazed, amused, entertained and somewhat annoyed.

No way in hell am I clicking that but when I was watching ((HBO)) they kept pimping this shit awful comedy special:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0i65bP6HHR0" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0i65bP6HHR0</a>

Now either I lost touch what the kids are into these days or clown world is so deeply embedded because ((journalists)) ranted and raved over it.  Here's one such article, ranking it the second best comedy special of the year: https://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2017/12/the-25-best-stand-up-comedy-specials-of-2017.html

Another clickbait farm ranked it the sixth best: http://www.vulture.com/2017/12/10-best-stand-up-comedy-specials-2017.html

If you notice, nary a shitlord white comedian.  You have Chappelle's specials, which were ranked but ranked at the bottom of the list to make way for effete soyboys, and ideologically correct "comedians".  Even the non-white male comedians look like dick sucking faggots.  No way would a Patrice O'Neal or even a Chris Rock could make it today.  Chappelle's specials were pretty good and you only get begrudingly positive reviews with lots of clickbait outrage.

Seems like these days the best way for actual comedy to make it through is through podcasting since I don't know anyone who gives a shit about comedy clubs unless they're already fans of comedy.  Seems like little or no growth these days.

The best story I remember about Patrice O'Neal was when he was on the writing team for WWE and eventually got fired. When he got fired he got a phone call from Stephanie McMahon (the owner's daughter) to tell him he was fired. His response was basically 'ok cool' and hung up because shit, comics get fired all the time.

Stephanie ended up calling him 5 more times to remind him that he was fired, because apparently when WWE fires you you're supposed to take it like they just shot your family in front of you and you're meant to beg and plead for your job back, and the fact that Patrice didn't do that infuriated the McMahons so they kept calling hoping to get that reaction and he wouldn't give it to them
