Problem Solverz was very similar. It was an ironic "post modern" show that intentinoally used Macromedia Flash in the worst way possible to look like something a stoner with no artistic skill would make. Gradients, horrible colors randomly picked off the color Flash wheel, no color theory, no technical skill, nothing; it was worse than an early 2000s Newgrounds cartoon. It was made by Paper Rad who basically make FYAD-esque surreal ironic videos for a living and instead of being considered funny shitposters for it they are part of the high art world.
Multiple people in the elite American cartoonist clique pimped "this new show by our great friends Paper Rad" including Shmorky and the guy who made Regular Show. Everyone thought it was pathetic and stupid that something so shitty got chosen by the network when there are so many fantastic pilot shorts out there by starving artists and it got canceled.
But by that time these people could deal with criticism and weren't as babyfied by internet marxism, so I didn't see any huge group-hug session of weeping manchildren. The Teen Titans Go thing however was absolutely hysterical. A group of adults in their 30s acting fucking traumatized over literal children on the "toxic, harassing!!!" internet saying "Teen Titans Go is a boring stupid cartoon", feeling so deeply attacked that they publicly admitted that they hire staff based on friend status over talent with pride because "fuck those retarded 13 year olds on the internet that actually want quality FUCK THEM!!!!"
