a lot of the current gen of hard scientists know there are group differences  but just shut up about it so they can get on with their work.  but stupid idpol classes hadn't completely destroyed the academy when they went through school.  will the next gen of statisticians conclude everything we know about stats is wrong because past studies keep showing these intractable differences, and a fortiori which we now know is wrong?

I was looking for the "left is eating itself" thread to put this in:
https://legalinsurrection.com/2018/01/student-op-ed-calls-harvard-drag-club-anti-queer-anti-brown-and-anti-black/

Student Op-Ed Calls Harvard Drag Club ‘Anti-Queer, Anti-Brown, and Anti-Black’

Quote
Nicholas Whittaker accused Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals group of being “not actively pro-Queer, pro-Brown, and pro-Black and so necessarily anti-Queer, anti-Brown, and anti-Black,” and said consequently that its famous drag show “never could be drag.”

Whittaker compared Hasty Pudding Theatricals unfavorably to “Venus Xtravaganza,” a “small Latinx trans drag queen” famous in 1980s New York.

Venus Xtravaganza “dances because she knows the beauty of her Brown skin, her Queer body,” Whittaker writes. “Her dance gives her power. How else, but by dancing, can she live in a world that mercilessly crushes Brown and Black, Queer and trans bodies, crushes them under its anti-Queer, anti-Brown and anti-Black healthcare and legal system and education system and culture and police state? How else, but by dancing, can Venus Xtravaganza breathe?”

“Does anyone in the Hasty Pudding Theatricals even know Venus Xtravaganza’s name? If not, how can they know what drag really is?”

“Drag is Queer,” Whittaker says, “and drag is Brown and Black. The ballroom is a battleground, and voguing—the dance of drag, our triumph—is a battle cry.”

Drag shows are very problematic because they are basically minstrel shows for trannies and it shows that gays aren't as inclusive as the left likes to pretend.

This is true. Most run of the mill gays have outright contempt and mocking for trannys, and 99% of drag queens aren't actual  24/7 trannys.

The coming Gay vs Trans conflict, especially when it comes to eliminating drag culture as offensive will make the TERF wars pale in comparison.

i'm reminded of a post on reddit about a guy having a turkish masseur get increasingly more sexually aggressive and the poster didn't know how to communicate it wasn't cool without sounding homophobic so went along with it until this guy who looked like bald bull from punch-out fucked him in the ass without saying anything

not that this is particularly close to you, i'm sure you fought as well as  you could but hell that drag queen was very strong

also i'm surprised to see that shit coming out of u chicago.  while there are some mixed stories about how pc they can be they at least came out with the Chicago Principles which are as strong a statement i've seen from a university administration except maybe the chancellor of oxford telling those people wanting to get rid of cecil rhodes' statue to fuck off.  so one would think those kind of extortionate demands would be viewed as pointless and possibly the culture there would be different generally

Students walk out of anthropology lecture after professor uses the word “n****r”

Quote
Several students walked out of an anthropology lecture Tuesday afternoon when a professor allegedly asked a question in which he used the word “n****r,” according to several students in the class. Another student said he intends to drop the class due to the professor’s remarks.

Recordings of the incident were also provided to the ‘Prince.’

According to students, during lecture for the course ANT 212: Cultural Freedoms — Hate Speech, Blasphemy, and Pornography, anthropology professor Lawrence Rosen asked students, “What is worse, a white man punching a black man, or a white man calling a black man a n****r?”

Hey there buddy, this is supposed to be an anti-white, anti-Christian circle jerk. No challenging thoughts allowed.

From another article:

Quote
A male student of color stood up, inches from professor Rosen’s face and shouted “FUCK YOU,” this witness claimed. Just before that, a female student of color had shouted at Rosen, as the first was approaching, “do you feel safe right now.” “There was no physical contact,” this witness claims, though at the time the student feared there might be. During that class, “nobody except Rosen defended Rosen,” the student told me. Another student in the class confirmed this account to TWS.

The coming Gay vs Trans conflict, especially when it comes to eliminating drag culture as offensive will make the TERF wars pale in comparison.

most normies don't get this.

my first exposure to it was out having dinner at some random downtown restaurant. our waiter was an over-the-top gay man that was telling us about the vacation he was going to go on with his boyfriend (i'm not joking about this at all). as we're sitting there, in walks this 6'4" troon, upwards of 275+ lbs, wearing a cheap black evening dress and large pearl necklace. even a woman wearing it would be out of place -- the area doesn't have any restaurants where you would dress up to that level, this place was a casual restaurant, and it was something like 6pm on a wednesday.

so the troon walks in, looks around, and heads to the bathroom without sitting down. i look over and my waiter is staring in their direction, watching him and laughing and joking with the other waitstaff. a few minutes pass, troon comes out of the bathroom, then walks out again. idk if this guy was looking to use every bathroom in the area and hoping someone would stop them so they could claim a civil rights violation or what, but it was an eye opening experience.
