Diversity training is good. Can you believe that some people today can't tell the difference between a melungeon and a hexadecaroon?

Lol, gotta shoehorn that diversity training in there so the school district can cover their ass when the only people being smoked by teachers with guns are people with names like D'Dontreveous and Josť Morales.

I don't think we have to worry about gun control being enacted (As much), when our enemies make mistakes chock full of terrible optics like this:

For our side, this little faggot is the best thing to come out of that shooting. I can't believe how hard legacy media is holding on to this fucking bullshit. They may not be crisis actors but the perception is that they are actors and thus nothing they say should be taken seriously. Every time CNN puts this idiot on the air, social media flares up with counterpoint poasts and videos that are getting great traction, at least in my circles. The best part is the counterpoint poasts and videos don't even really have to have any bombshell, earth-shaking information so long as they paint this moron as the attention whore he really is.

The Conservatives have a slogan which I think is despicable and defeatist: "It's better to be dead than red." And the Commies and Liberals have a slogan which is even worse, it's treason, they say: "It's better to be red than dead." We say this: "You don't have to be Red and you don't have to be Dead. Not dead. Not Red. Dead Reds"

They should come up with some kind of signal or greeting to identify each other when they meet. Maybe raising an arm with an open hand to show peaceful intentions.

ICMYI, Kurt Kikenwald doxxed a random Oregon representative:

http://www.oregonlive.com/politics/index.ssf/2018/03/dont_bring_a_knife_to_a_bazook.html#incart_target2box_default_#incart_target2box_targeted_

Quote
A Dallas-based journalist for Vanity Fair and MSNBC posted an Oregon lawmaker's personal information online early Friday morning, as a tit for tat after the lawmaker posted information about supporters of an initiative to ban assault weapon sales in the state.

Kurt Eichenwald launched an extensive Twitter tirade against Rep. Bill Post, a Republican from Keizer, just before 9 a.m. PST. Eichenwald posted a news story about Post's decision earlier this week to share phone numbers and home addresses of three Portland clergy leading an effort to ban sales of assault weapons in Oregon on Facebook.

"Where do the psychos come from?" Eichenwald wrote on Twitter. "This is what happens when the GOP throws open the doors to the mental ward and invites the patients to be their standard bearers."

Post encouraged members of a pro-gun rights Facebook group on Wednesday to contact the initiative supporters and share their information with others. A rabbi and pastor told The Oregonian/OregonLive on Thursday that they had been wondering why they were receiving phone calls, emails and online messages from gun rights supporters. Their information that Post shared came from a publicly available state database.

I haven't weighed in on this, so here goes...

I think that the interpretation of the 2nd Amendment is huge.  Do you think that the 2nd Amendment guarantees your rights to wield arms against the government, or do you think that the 2nd Amendment guarantees your right to use deadly force to defend your life, liberty, and property in general?  Those interpretations have much different implications.

If it is the former, then that implies that there should be no regulation of weapons, whatsoever.  You should be allowed to have neighborhood militias to organize in the event that Emperor Barack II sends the tanks into your city.  You should be able to own machine guns and rocket launchers to keep the government honest.  99% of the country thinks that this is a loony idea.  But, I would argue that this is the legitimate purpose that the founding fathers had in mind when they wrote the Constitution.  But Americans are simply unable to comprehend this possiblity.  On a smaller scale, people can comprehend something like the Branch Davidians shooting back at the ATF when they tried to raid their compound.  But even in that event, I can't see the government ever losing that confrontation.  Regardless, if this is your interpretation of the 2nd Amendment, and I do think that it is the original intent even though society has changed drastically since then, then it means that there should be virtually no regulation of weapons and Saint Trayvon should be able to by an Uzi as soon as he turns 18, if not sooner.  A big problem with this interpretation is that there were no tanks, machine guns, grenades, fighter/bombers, or rocket launchers in 1780.  There weren't even semi-automatic fifles.  The founding fathers obviously were wise enough to realize that the world would change.  I'm not sure though that they could envision a day when a large amount of kililng power could be concentrated into the hands of one citizen.  Either way, there is no way of winning this argument in the public arena.  I hate to say this, but I can see the shitlib side of this.

If your interpretation of the 2nd Amendment is the latter, then means something different.  Concealed carry should be acceptable, but you don't need a large clip to defend yourself against Tyrone breaking into your house to steal your TV.  Nor do you need an assault rifle.  Nor do you need multiple weapons.  In the overwhelming majority of cases, simply brandishing your weapon would do the trick.  One or two shots would likely be enough.  Therefore, it is not infringing upon your rights to regulate what types of weapons you can buy and how many you can own.  Nor is it infringing upon your rights for there to be a gun registry and for the government to regulate the sale and ownership of guns, just like they regulate the sale and ownership of vehicles.  When a shitlib says "but you don't need an A-15" or "you don't need to own six guns", then it is this specific interpretation of the right that they are addressing.  This likely was not the original intent of the 2nd Amendment, but I would argue that it is the more relevant and more critical meaning in <currentyear>.  You are much more likely to have to defend yourself from random cultural enrichment than you are to ever partake in an armed uprising against the government.  I can't see that ever really changing.

So, that's it.  Is the 2nd Amendment our last defense against tyranny or is it what allows Mr. Zimmerman to defend himself against the local "diversity"?
There are things you don't understand about firearms, but that was obvious when you called a magazine a clip and more obvious since you're probably thinking I'm being pedantic and "who cares what you call it." There were definitely guns that were as good as semi-automatic when the Constitution was written. The Pepperbox comes to mind. And yes, private citizens owned cannon. Here's a decent thread on the topic: https://www.quora.com/What-were-the-most-advanced-arms-available-in-1791-the-year-that-the-Second-Amendment-was-passed
Of course the framers of the Constitution knew that weapons would develop. Lewis and Clark had a rifle that fired 22 fucking .46 caliber balls in under 30 seconds. And it was silent.

As for your second theory, there is no regulation on car ownership. You can own as many as you like. But there is no Constitutional right to own cars. How does a gun registry and limitation on ownership not infringe on my right? Who says what I need? It's not the Bill of Needs.

In theory, there could be as many or as few regulations on car ownership as the individual states could dream up. It's not in the Constitution, so it is not a concern of the federal government. Gun ownership is in the Constitution, therefore it is under the purview of Congress. Since the ink on the Bill of Rights was still drying, Congress has passed various gun control legislation, most to restrict but some early stuff actually required gun ownership.... Most of this legislation has passed SCOTUS muster or was never even challenged to begin with. With the right combination of justices, Congress could likely get away with passing a law that issues a rifle to every citizen of able body and mind and bans all other gun sales and have it pass SCOTUS muster. "You have your arms, the Constitution says we get to decide what is infringement and what is a well-regulated militia... and only SCOTUS can stop us. If you don't like it, vote in somebody else." is probably what the founders had in mind... seeing the founders themselves didn't follow the "all rights, no regulations" path.

The second amendment will never be repealed but I see it becoming more and more of a "health" issue as a backdoor restriction.

Edit: Also we're seeing corporations stepping in as another backdoor regulation as seen here.  Do you want health insurance?  Not if you own a gun, goy!  Do you want a home loan?  I see you own a gun, sorry, looks like your application is denied.  Don't want to have Tyvondrius rob your house and have an unfortunate accident!

Yup, I can see that becoming the reality... And really there isn't any need to repeal it... Congress can pass whatever the fuck legislation they want, so long as SCOTUS signs off. For the record, I am pro 2A... own as many of whatever type of guns you wish. No fucks given from me... I just think this NRA fueled stuff about how 2A = no regulation is nonsense that isn't supported by roughing 230 years of Congressional and SCOTUS actions. Congress has always fucked around with gun control / firearm legislation starting in the 1780s. The current NRA stance is a relatively new phenomenon since they've become a trade lobby and not an enthusiast club. In the 1960s, with JFK's skull getting melon scooped from the 6th floor and black commie terror groups threatening race war, the NRA was squarely pro-regulation.

At some point the SCOTUS needs to take up the question of standard of review wrt the 2A. Frankly idk how something considered a fundamental right basically only has to pass the rational basis test (and sometimes not even that it seems) to be considered constitutional. I guess it would be in keeping with the continued push to weaken the 1A under the guise of preventing hate speech, and the decades long war on the 4th- no rights will be protected. LOL if u think u have the right to your own conscience or the right to defend yourself or the right to privacy.

The good news here is that the rally appears to be a flop: http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/380172-march-for-our-lives-crowd-smaller-than-expected-report

I'm guessing they're going to run into the same problem that Occupy Wall Street did: every fringe splinter group is going to jump on the bandwagon and demand a platform for their pet issue. Unless the Parkland Five international financiers running this movement are willing to deny a voice to say, trannies, their message is going to get diluted all to hell.
